Here is the format of the Winter Track League, as received from Morne Van Greunen, with the first event taking place on 14th June 2011.

"We decided to try something new. Racing will be made up of two man or lady teams. Its much more fun doing it with someone, than going at it alone in the cold.

You can mix if you want to as well. It could be a mix of sprinters, endurance riders, ladies, vets, jnrs, elites. Doesn't matter, what ever rocks your boat.

To assist our riders preparing for the SA Omnium Champs we will have some of those events at every League. The team decides which rider rides what or even both riders could ride every race. That's totally up to the team. Obviously it would be better that both riders ride each race, but as said, that's the team's decision.

Points will again be allocated as with the Summer League and we will again have "A" and "B" cat races.

There is no boundaries here, so think out of the box.
