It is our 25th anniversary and boy... are we celebrating with all participants to the events. Loads of surprises at this year’s Amashova! Lucky draws to the value of R50 000 at the finish… and that’s just for starters :-)

We are delighted to welcome Hirsch’s as our new product partner. Hirsch’s is a family owned business and the largest independently owned appliance company in Southern Africa. The company has grown rapidly since it was founded by Allan and Margaret Hirsch 32 years ago. From a tiny showroom in Umhlanga Rocks Drive Hirsch’s now have eleven branches scattered throughout KZN and Gauteng and they will soon be expanding into the Cape. It has become a favourite one-stop-shopping centre for the home, supplying everything from state of the art televisions and appliance equipment to a wide range of superb furniture, bedding and high tech photographic, computer and gaming equipment.

Work on our second road safety bike park is taking shape and we can’t wait to show you the results. Many thanks again to the 2010 Up Ride participants for being part of this awesome project. This is another step closer to achieving our goal of educating our future road users and ensuring safety for all.

With enough support we can re-introduce the train from Pretoria/ Johannesburg to Pietermaritzburg and back. An enjoyable and hassle free way to participate in the Amashova weekend. Please vote on our website poll to assist us with our planning

Race date for the 106km and 38km road races will be on Sunday 16th October and both mountain bike events will take place on Sunday 23rd October at Midmar Dam.
