This event offers great routes in the Worcester-Nuy valley. The 2011 route details are being finalised as you are reading this, but will in all likelihood be fairly similar to the popular routes used in 2010:

The 50km route will take riders through various terrains with scenic views and includes a section of the challenging Damon 4×4 trail with its typical mountainous Karoo vegetation. It will also lead riders through private vineyards, jeep tracks and a river crossing. The first section of the route is fast although always against a slight gradual incline. The midsection of the route ends with a good climb, rough descent and a fast single track, followed by a fast gravel section to the finish. This route “bites” at the end and will be enjoyed by the experienced and fit rider.

The 35km route shares the first and last section of the 50km route. The route is suitable for the intermediate rider, but still requires good technical skills to take you over the 4×4 trail near the end. The 10km route is an easy, non-technical ride.
