Safety and ethics

Club 100 is concerned about the safety of all its members when out cycling.
All members are encouraged to follow these basic rules:

  • Always wear a helmet
  • Keep to the left of the road as much as possible
  • Always obey the rules of the road, especially stopping at traffic lights and stop streets
  • Don't ride alone if you can ride in a group, this applies to the road as much as the mountain
  • Always have lights on your bike to stay visible to motorists
  • Always keep some form of ID on your person when out riding, including an ICE contact number

We are a recognised club with a good reputation, which we are proud of.
This is because our members adhere to these basic rules of behaviour:

  • We are polite and courteous to other road users
  • We assist fellow cyclists when in need along the road/trail
  • We set a good example of following the rules of the road
  • We are generally a friendly bunch!
